Big, bold, and comedy gold! The smash hit Broadway musical returns for a limited 1-week season to celebrate acceptance and equality at The National Theatre, St Kilda, April 14 – 17.

Professionally produced by critically acclaimed James Terry Collective (Rent, Legally Blonde) this production will partner with Take the Mic Australia, for a special Professional Development Program.

The production is now seeking emerging performers of all identities & cultural backgrounds (aged 15 – 21) to audition for the program and musical, which will overlap with the school holidays. This opportunity is limited up to 25 performers only.

These performers will not only be part of the ensemble in this spectacular musical, but rehearsals will coincide with a professional cast! Including exclusive masterclasses, professional headshots, and video showreel material – this is an unbeatable theatre experience.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward the big stage, then now is your opportunity to audition for this unique program. We are seeking experienced young performers who’ve had extensive dance, and/or vocal training. The program may be split into two ensembles for dance & vocals, so we don't expect all performers to be triple threats!
